Synopsis

Jellyfish Pictures worked on bringing a sailboat to life; creating a CG ocean, storm elements, flapping sails and ropes. In order to create a believable storm on top of a steady boat shot the artists animated sails and ropes and added CG simulations to show gust, foam and waves crashing on the vessel's hull, plus the utilisation of 2D and 3D rain elements and DMP to create a dense atmosphere, including full CG shots with thunderclouds.
