Jellyfish Pictures boasts a world‑class Art Department led by Emmy‑award winning Creative Director, Tom Brass. Its talented concept and environmental artists work to a broad scope of creative styles and genres, designing characters and creatures and building extraordinary worlds for features, TV documentaries and series.

With our exceptional pre‑production expertise, vision and artistry, esteemed directors and producers such as Ridley Scott, Gareth Edwards, Rupert Wyatt, Jon Favreau and Peter Ramsey have sought our collaboration from a project's inception to help develop the creative look and feel through pitch books, visual development, storyboards and final look tests.

The process starts with a understanding of a client’s creative ambition and a deep dive into story and characters, all of which is researched and explored through mood‑boards, sketches and sculpts, before being fully‑realised as digital storyboards, animatics, character, environment and prop design, and conceptual / visual development.
